Guidance
Starting in 2024, Signals Notebook Standard Edition will be provided to Tokyo Tech as a service attached to ChemOffice, and the service will begin this spring.
Users must create and use an account on the Tokyo Tech Tenant (dedicated site), but they cannot register on their own; the administrator will do it on their behalf.
Notebooks (experiment notebooks) can only be created by instructors, and students are required to record experimental data, so they cannot be used by students alone, and we do not accept applications from students.
Since it is a service attached to ChemOffice, there is no additional cost for laboratories that already use ChemOffice.
If you are not using ChemOffice, you will be charged a ChemOffice usage fee (the department will be billed in a lump sum next year based on this year's usage results, not this year's bill).
This account is different from ChemOffice, so even those who are currently using ChemOffice will need to register for a separate account.
How to Use
Account registration
To register your account, the department administrator will send a bulk registration form (csv) to each laboratory, etc. and ask them to submit it.
Faculty members should compile the information including students and submit it to the department administrator.
Please be sure to include at least one faculty member, as it cannot be used by students only.
The cell input is as follows.
・First Name* : English (required)
・Last Name* : English (required)
・Email Address* : m.titech.ac.jp address(required)
・Alias：No input required
・staff：Enter 1 for teachers. No input required for students.
Once registration is complete, you will receive an email from revvitycloud.com with the subject "Signals Research Suite Set Up Password".
Account registration is completed by accessing the URL in the email and setting a password.
Start using
Notebooks can be used by instructors who create them and share them with students.
Notes on use
Notebook names and Experiment names cannot be duplicated within a tenant.
If you use an arbitrary name such as 001, name conflicts are likely to occur.
Please enter the date, research title, laboratory name, author's name, etc. to make it easy to search, avoid making it too long, and try to name it so that it is unique.
Experiments will be automatically numbered, and will be automatically created with consecutive numbers with a name such as name_001.
Others
If you were using Signals Notebook Individual Edition, it will no longer be available on March 31, 2025, and your data will be deleted.
